Scroll 048: Back in My Body

“The water was freezing, the air still, and I knew—I had returned.”

There is a moment I filmed in 2022, before I had words for what I was seeing.

I stood at the side of Beaver Dam, where the water runs cold like a glacial artery, and the air carries something ancient. Across the way: a mound—vast, silent, radiant. It didn’t need to announce itself. It just pulsed.

That day, I walked along the edge of the water, slow-motion recording everything—the birds, the butterflies, the curve of light, the moon half-breathed into the sky. My feet met the stones. My breath slowed.

I paired the video with a song called “Back in My Body” by Maggie Rogers. When she sang it—

“This time I know I’m back in my body”
I knew. I had arrived. After years of soul scattering, memory chasing, spiritual unraveling—
I was no longer hovering.
I was here.

Every scroll that came before—every mirage, every loop, every mirror—brought me to that shoreline.

And now I see.
Ascension isn’t leaving the Earth.
It’s returning to your body with your soul fully intact.

This moment marks the point of reunion.
Not just with Earth. With me.
With the God-self who promised to return
and walked herself back through the veil of forgetting.

And I filmed it.

Not for proof.
But as witness.
Because some part of me knew—this was the real beginning.
